Diane and myself have three children ages 16 - 25, a girl and 2 boys both with BSC's from DeVry. We bought out first Shih Tzu (pronounced SHEET-Sue) for my wife Diane, who was recovering from a double mastectomy. With Chemo-therapy and Radiation to come, into our lives came Max. Max was the best thing to happen to us in along time. When Diane needed a friend at any time, day or night, just call, and Max was there. It didn't matter what mood you where in, he always made you feel better. Our love for the breed began with him, and the rest is history.

Max, although not in our program is still with us, and always will be as long as mother nature will allow. We do not relocate our babies because they no longer become productive like a lot of other breeders do. They are still my children, and how can anyone say that your friend is no longer needed and just give them to someone else and bring in a new replacement to fill the void after that. Not me.

We are not a kennel; for we raise all out dogs in our home. Diane also runs a Day Home for some of our friends so that they dont have to worry about thier children and can make a living themselves. All our puppies are raised with these children as well as other pets. We have a saying around here, "We socialize puppies to live with children and children to live with dogs.". Our puppies temperament is second to none. The building blocks will be laid for your new puppy by us, all you need to do is keep on adding love and a little more training and watch your puppy grow into a sociable and loving member of your community.

Our aim is to breed quality Shih Tzus to CKC standard with good type, soundness and movement, as well as temperament and health.

We are just a small southern Alberta program. We do not have many litters a year, but when the right homes are first found, a litter may then become avaliable in the near future.

Check out the rest of our website, and if at the end you see something you like and think a loving Shih Tzu companion is for you, please contact us.

We pride ourselves in treating out new friends and companions with respect, as we wish them to treat us. Shih Tzus were born to be our friends and companions; giving us everthing for nothing, all I ask is for you to do the same for them. We will try to assist you with any of your problems, for as long as you own your dog or longer if you wish. If we dont know the answer, we will try and find it for you. With all new questions, everyone learns.

If by some reason (advanced in years, special needs, etc) an older dog would be a better fit for your family, there may be a chance of receiving a retired friend of mine. If one is not available (and there is a good chance there won't be) we will try and help you find your next best friend through one of our many friends that we have come to know over the years.
